Kate Hayward Flowers has only existed as a company since September 2010 but we do have a lot of strengths, contacts, suppliers and relationships we have nurtured individually and now together.
The creative side of Kate Hayward is Kate Kern (née Hayward) who has been in floristry since she was eighteen working at both McQueens and Robbie Honey before leaving to freelance and have children all at the same time.
The business side of our company is looked after by Laura Chapman who previously worked at an American Investment Bank but left to have her children back in 2006.
Kate and Laura met through their children and decided Kate’s strong creative vision and technical expertise combined with Laura’s business background could prove a great mix. We are delighted with our business – and exactly the kind of company we want to be;- small, perfectly formed, able to provide a personal service from the people who own the company and enormously proud of what we do.
